Terms and Conditions

Payment

If you have elected to make your payment by credit or debit card on delivery, you must have informed us of your card details at the point of ordering as payment in full will be required on the day of delivery and authorisation will be checked prior to delivery. If you choose to pay by personal cheque, building society cheque or banker's draft we require full payment before delivery - in the case of personal cheques these must be cleared before goods are dispatched.

About Your Furniture Product

All cane furniture dimensions are approximate and can be altered at our discretion. Although every endeavour is made to match all the fabric and cane finishes, a slight variation may occur to that seen in printed matter. Haddon House and their associated brands reserve the right to change fabric and cane designs. It is recommended that cane furniture is not placed directly in bright sunlight or that blinds/throws are used. The materials we use to produce our furniture are of the best quality, but because of their natural origins, they will sometimes have variations in tones and unique characteristics that make each piece individual, these are not flaws, but part of their natural beauty.

Guarantee

All cane frames have a 12-month structural guarantee. We strongly recommend you consider our fabric warranties, to protect fabrics against everyday spills, stains and accidents.

Fit and Access

We supply approximate dimensions for all our ranges. It is your responsibility to check and ensure that the furniture you have ordered will fit into the desired room or conservatory in your home, for our delivery personnel to gain safe and easy access to the proposed room or conservatory and that there is sufficient access for the delivery vehicle to reach the delivery address. If at point of delivery our delivery personnel feel there is a risk of damage to the furniture, your property or your belongings, you will be asked to sign a 'Delivery Permission form' giving them permission to proceed.

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order at any time by contacting our Customer Service Department. Cancellations made after the 7th day of your order placement date will incur a 10% cancellation fee.

Delivery

A Specialist Carrier Company will make delivery. They will contact you prior to the proposed delivery date. All goods must be signed for on delivery.

Checking Your Furniture

When your furniture is delivered, the delivery personnel will unpack your furniture removing all packaging and placing your furniture in situation. You will then be asked to carefully check your furniture and to sign a form confirming this has been received in a good and acceptable condition, deeming that you are satisfied with your goods. An adult must be available to carefully check the goods. If you elect to sign this form without inspecting the goods, or if you delegate to a third party to inspect your furniture and sign this form on your behalf, then this cannot be revoked. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Defective Products

If at point of delivery you believe your product to be of an unsatisfactory quality, you must highlight this to the delivery personnel and indicate the issue. The delivery personnel will then make a note of this. You must then call our head office on the same day or the next available working day, to arrange your exchange. Exchanges and collections will be made by the Specialist Carrier Company who will contact you prior to the date of exchange or collection. Faulty goods reported outside of this stated period will NOT be exchanged. Refunds will be paid once the goods have been returned to our head office and have been checked. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7-day trial

You have 7 days to change your mind and in this instance you must phone our head office within 7 days following delivery. We will arrange a collection when next in your area. At point of collection your furniture will be checked to see it is in the same pristine condition as when it was delivered. Goods in pristine condition will then be returned to head office and we will then refund your goods value, less collection charge and less any applicable surcharges. Collections and attempted collections, will be charged at £75 plus any applicable surcharges Collection charges will also apply to goods returned at point of delivery except for damaged items.
